APQS Ultimate II Longarm Quilting Machine Start Price USD 3,000.00 Current Price USD 3,000.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, November 17, 2008 End Time Monday, November 24, 2008 Location Keokuk, IA See more about 'APQS Ultimate II Longarm Quilting Machine' Description I bought the machine in 1998, quilting while my children were in school to bring in extra income.  I do custom freehand machine quilting, so about 100 quilts done on this machine between 1998 and 2004.  Alot of the quilts I did won awards, and one raised over $10,000 for a Breast Cancer Center.  I only tell you this to let you know that this machine can do wonders, even though it's not computerized or stitch regulated.  It's a workhorse and can stand up to many long hours of quilting.The wooden table is one piece, and is 12 foot long.  You can do really big quilts with this machine.  It comes with the extended base, to do freehand lines,  and a bolt of 108" wide white backing fabric. I also have the laser light for following pantographs.  I will look for some of the extras I have packed away, but can make no promises as to what else might be included.  I took the machine head to Carroll Iowa, where it was totally gone over and rebuilt in 2004.Soon after, I found myself in a divorce and went back to school for my nursing license.  I am now an LPN and working 60 hours a week.  I want to go back to school for my RN, and selling this machine is the only way I can figure out how to pay for that, otherwise I would keep it for the rest of my life!  I love this machine. The lightweight head is very easy to move and allows you to quilt for hours and not get tired.  I paid $7000. for the machine in 1998.   It cannot be shipped and is located in Keokuk, Iowa, which is in the tri -state area where Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa all meet.
