Mount a sheet of high impact polystyrene plastic in the pivoting latch-lock frame, lay out your pattern on the vacuum platen, and cycle the machine to complete your project.  the vacuum surface, unobstructed by the usual heating hood, allows you to rearrange or straighten your layout up to the final seconds before forming.The Nichols Model 10-B Thermo-O-Vac somes factory equipped with the Even-Heat option in place.  The Even-Heat Circulator transforms the radiant heat of the element into a gentle zone of uniform temperature capable of pocessing unusually thin or reprocessed (non-virgin) material.The Nichols Model 10-B Therm-O-Vac uses styrene plastic sheets that measure 14" x 20" x .020 to .060 thick.  This is an extremely large capacity for such a modestly priced and compact unit.  Adaptor unit is included (a $89 value) to accommodate 1/4 sheet (10" x 7" #Whiz-3) size to economize on material costs and enhance performance.       BECAUSE RESIN IS CONSIDERED A HAZ MAT BY THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (because of possible leaking during shipping) I CAN ONLY SHIP INSIDE THE US AND BY UPS GROUND.
