You can use it to store other craft supplies if you do not have enough cartridges to fill it.  These are sold unvarnished.  They have been sanded to a smooth finish and are ready for you to stain or varnish if you like.  Many people who buy our products use them without staining or varnishing.  The shipping is $15 for 1 and $20 for 2 to USA zip codes.  We will combine shipping on products of similar size that can be bundled together.
