Then with a unit such as this connected you can instantaneously shut off the big outside burner with a dab at the precise foot pedal and then reengage it back to action as fast. These are units are quite simple with two photoed solenoids powered by a two heavy duty electrical cords. One to an outlet and one to the pedals foot switch, Electrical cables are about 10 foot each. This unit is assembled from quality electrical and pressure components The actual little foot pedal is a lot higher grade than most. A very smooth and precise pedal. look closely at it, more exact, smaller with a very solid precise feeling and it weighs a lot This is quite a step up from other units offered for over $400 I believe the box is stainless and its quality construction is evident.These retailed several years ago for over $400 and nothing in this industry has not risen in price. They were actually made by Roche industries in Grass Valley Ca, for several larger distributors. This is a very little used unit though several years old. The lack of wear on the pedal treadle shows how little! As evidenced duct tape was used to suspend unit and for this price its tackiness will remain.adds character!I  do not have use for this type of unit for the burner I mostly use.
